First big thanks to all those who commented on my book both here and yahoo. I really appreciate it. My second proposal, a Crazy Patch Goddess Wall Doll was accepted for a class. I made the prototype and also another to test the pattern pieces for the patches. I am not kitting the doll per se--the students will have choices of fabrics from a collection of silks I have been collecting for a CQ class. It all starts with the choice of a focus fabric and then the remaining choices for the patches. The seams are short, at least 2 will be covered with trims. The head will be completed and included in the kit and I will be printing the faces out. This is a two day class. Everyone will do a beaded butterfly too.

Wow! These really are lovely. Sounds like a great class.
Stephanie your doll is beautiful! I love your bead work and I'm so thankful I have the Katrina quilt with your beautiful beaded work. Lucky me ... I get to look at it whenever I want!
These are beautiful dolls. I am sure your class will be a great one.
They are beautiful Stephanie! You do beautiful bead work. It's going to be a wonderful class.
Wow Stephanie, I can't believe how similar your doll pattern looks like the Wall Doll taught to me by Bunny Goode back in 2005. I was so awed by the fabrics and the way she did her crazy quilting work and the beautiful body shape and face that I insisted she teach me and she was kind enough to give me a personal lesson and pattern. Then I saw that same doll at the annual Quilt Show in Edison about 2years ago. I visit her website often and found that she has more of her beautiful wall dolls there(what you call a Crazy Patch Goddess Wall Doll). How amazing and what a small world it is that two amazing doll makers had the same idea. But I guess this happens a lot. When the muse hits, it can hit us in wondrous ways.
