My friend Colleen is opening a shop in Manahawkin, NJ named Artsy Soul (how cool is that!) and she asked me to teach so I had to come up with a project. I created this accordian fold screen. The dangles in the center of each page is cut from a soda can, embossed with the Sizzix Vintaj embossing folders and colored with the new Ranger Patinas. Each page is cut with the Sizzix Alterations M&S cabinet card. I had to cut the circles out by hand but just got a die by Die-Namics that will do the trick . Words of inspiration are on the front of each page, some of my favorite sayings are on the back. Charms, the large ones made from paper, hang from each pole and the bases are bottle caps. The front of the pages are heat embossed or stenciled with lots of Ranger products. the back of the pages are dry embossed and then further embellished. LOVE working with the metal. Watch for the dates. This will be a multi-class project probably - like a "Book Club" project. Here are some close-ups.

All the sayings are from stamps. The red is
Dickenson the purple is JK Rowling. Stamps
are from Stamp Camp, Artistic Outpost. |

The Blue saying is Einstein (Stamp Camp) and the
yellow is a Tim Holtz stamp. |

Very cool! When will the shop be opening? I don't live too far from Manahawken.
Wow. Those are just fantastic. Love the colors and all of the details.
Fantastic project!
they looked like little sentries all lined up! Lovely work and i wish it was not a 3 day journey to get to your class!
Sounds like fun! Hopefully, I'll be able to come down to class and finally meet the 'other' Stephanie!
